History Edit

Many years before the events of the movie, Lily Carnation was met by the pirate captain Baron Omatsuri, whose crew had previously died in a storm. In exchange for making living replicas of his crew, the Baron agreed to help Lily feed on other powerful pirates.

For most of the film, Lily Carnation appears as a small flower that Baron Omatsuri, the apparent ruler of Omatsuri island, adorns on his shoulder. However, after the Straw Hats prove their strength, its dark nature becomes apparent as it intends to feed on them. Baron and Lily's replica's capture most of the Straw Hats and Lily consumes them one-by-one through its giant stalk.

Baron and Lily then face-off against Luffy, the captain of the Straw Hats, who destroys Lily's giant stalk. Lily then shows its true form, sprouting into a fearsome man-eating plant consisting of the absorbed bodies of the Straw Hats.

Lily Carnation is then killed by Papa, the leader of the Tearoom Pirates, who shoots an arrow through its head.

Method of Consumption Edit

Lily Carnations' True Form

Lily Carnation's only known method of consumption was through a gigantic flower stalk. It's prey was taken to the stalk, at which point the stalk would grab them with its vines and drop them into its opening where they would be slowly absorbed. As it consumed its victims, the flower on Baron Omatsuri's shoulder would make biting and chewing motions to indicate that it was eating.

However, even if the stalk was destroyed, Lily Carnation would still hold its victims as seen when it transformed into its true form, showing that it still possessed the consumed bodies of the Straw Hats.
